GlobalBridge in Tonga...

The Niuatoputapu Foundation has a vision: to bring together and to help the people of Tonga's Northernmost island group.

Often known as the "forgotten islands", this remote Pacific outpost needs services and resources such as regular boat and plane access... the addition of a sixth-form class to reduce population decline as students migrate to Nuku'alofa (Tonga's capital) to complete their education... books, playground equipment, medical supplies, and much more. Analotu Ohuafi Emberson came to Tonga from Niuatoputapu with her dreams, and went to speak with Tu'i Niua (the second son of the King and Queen, Prince Ma'atu). He advised her to make sure her dreams come true, and agreed to become patron of her cause!

She is now Director of the Foundation, and the first shipment of resources sailed in 2003 on the yacht "Bird of Paradise", with Charles and Kathy Paul. When Ana returned, she received the blessing of Prince Ma'atu and his encouragement to continue the good work - especially the improvement of access. Now the second shipment is stockpiling. If you can help with transport from Nuku'alofa to Niuatoputapu, please contact Ana at pangaimotu_island@yahoo.com.au.

GlobalBridge arrived in Tonga in June 2004, sailing to where they felt the need was - and met Ana, heard her story, and pledged to help with graphic design for logos, stationery, and fund-raising clothing, plus the construction of a Foundation website to spread the word.

"A big thank you to all aboard Wayfarer!" - Ana

Saving the Hector's Dolphin...

"... I would highly recommend the GlobalBridge to any person / organisation requiring outstanding graphics and media...."

"Although the plight of the endangered Hector's dolphin has been widely publicised over recent years, scientifically robust, user-friendly information that is readily accessible to the public has not paralleled this publicity.

When I was contacted by Dene at the GlobalBridge to help source funding for this project, I immediately contacted my own sponsor - something I would not normally do. However, the professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm that Dene and the GlobalBridge team showed was reflected from the outset in the graphics and media they produced, and I felt honoured to not only have contributed to the Hector's dolphin conservation effort, but also to have worked with such a talented, dedicated organisation.

I would highly recommend the GlobalBridge to any person / organisation requiring outstanding graphics and media. Their friendly, professional service and dedication to producing accurate, innovative media made this a truly exceptional experience. Thanks Dene!"

Poverty & the New Zealand family...

"...Turn around times of proofs were very fast and we exceeded our targets for printing by nearly three weeks..."

"Presbyterian Support (Otago) appreciates having this opportunity to work with theglobalbridge.com preparing the artwork for its publication 'How Much is Enough'. The project was completed from text stage on by website and email communication. Turn around times of proofs were very fast and we exceeded our targets for printing by nearly three weeks. The standard of the design was just right for our purposes and the price was right. Thank you theglobalbridge.com."

Books Without Borders takes off...

"I was one woman working alone on a personal dream, a personal campaign."

"My work was eased with the appearance of Kuehne-Nagel and then with the wonderful infrastructure and energy of The Global Bridge team.

K-N helped me with logisitcs and other practical details. The Global Bridge gave me space and time to dream the biggest of dreams. The support and expertise, the practicalities, wisdom and experience of Dene and Allan have helped to lay a firm foundation for this first drive for books.

We really do come from a land of plenty. We also come from a land of telethons and those historic experiences showed us all that the grass-roots of Aotearoa is a place of compassion and generosity.

The Global Bridge is helping me and many other very small people take our part on the world stage, building a better tomorrow, and empowering our children to grow up as positive agents of change in a time when the adults appear to behave so badly."

Only At Nepal makes a difference...

"OnlyAtNepal.com would like to thank you ... I would like to stress how much this means to us. We here in Nepal, being on the bottom rung of the world's attention, feel that any help that we receive is appreciated."

"We have initiated several programs here that has been well appreciated by the government, private sectors and the public. OnlyAtNepal hopes to make a difference to the Nepalese community by providing a platform to help themselves and help each other.

In this regard, we sincerely like to thank Dene Waring, a friend of Nepal, and his (GlobalBridge) team and eMedia for being so kind in supporting our cause. We, sir, will not disappoint you and your contribution to our country. We have mentioned Dene's and eMedia's contribution in every meeting that we have had with a lot of companies, government bodies, and NGOs that we are partnering with and they have expressed their appreciation for your kind thoughts.

We are looking forward to the future when your kindness will bring fruit to our social cause."

Joe Karam's Golden Key Campaign...

"GlobalBridge's website and logo design services for our Golden Key Campaign are greatly appreciated and valuable."

"Our Golden Key Campaign aims to explain the shortcomings of our criminal justice system, help the public understand their rights under the Crimes Act and The Bill of Rights, put forward proposals for reform to the Criminal Justice System, and represent the falsely accused and wrongly convicted.

Your contribution has helped us to publicise and achieve these goals in a professional manner, with a website that is capable of representing our cause within a competitive media.

We respect GlobalBridge's aims and ideals, which are worthy of support from every quarter."

Many thanks, Joe Karam, www.freedavidbain.com

GlobalBridge & Marine Biology...

"I have been thinking about the GlobalBridge concept carefully, and can say wholeheartedly that we would be eager participants in the project."

"I see a genuine opportunity here to develop educational programmes in marine biology and ocean science that could have a broad and positive impact on the way people view their natural environment. I would be pleased to apply my knowledge, expertise and facilities to assist in the development of such projects."
